Voyager 1
Launched at
1977 Sept 5th
A space
probe, part of the Voyager program,
set to
explore to outer system such as Jupiter and Saturn.
Its’ purpose
to broaden our understanding of boundaries
of our solar
system such as
Kuiper Belt,
heliospace and interstellar space.
Its’ purpose
is to let other intelligent life-forms
that there
are life-forms besides them and
this is the
proof: a golden record of our “Sounds of Earth.”
After 35
years of travel and 20 billion kilometers from the Sun,
It is
entering the outer reaches of the Sun’s influence,
where the
yolk meets the outer thin shell,
of the solar
system and galaxy zone.
It would
experience the low energy galactic cosmic rays
that are
different from our sun’s rays.
If the probe
survives through the unknown region,
there would
be new observations of the interstellar space
as well as
the galactic field.
